Each issue signal is a source-backed complaint theme tied to one machine, with a severity grade (1-3) and a mention count. Weighted volume sums severity × mentions across a brand's machines. Brands qualify for the table with enough signals across enough machines; the rest are listed as limited data.
Report volume correlates with popularity and sales, not just build quality. Use this page to see what gets reported about each brand, then check per-machine pages for sample sizes and sources before drawing conclusions.

Does more reported issues mean a brand is unreliable?
Not by itself. Widely used brands accumulate more reviews and therefore more documented issues. Compare the share of machines with reports and the dominant issue types, and check per-machine sample sizes before drawing conclusions.
Where do these issue signals come from?
From indexed public sources — creator videos, forum and community threads, marketplace and review-platform feedback — plus manually verified evidence. Each signal stores a source record, severity grade, and mention count; raw third-party text is not republished.
How is weighted volume calculated?
Each signal's severity (1-3) is multiplied by its mention count, then summed across all of a brand's machines. The per-machine table on each product page breaks the same data down further.
How often does this report update?
Signals are re-synced as new evidence is indexed and the page revalidates daily, so numbers move as the evidence base grows.
